In order to create a healthy indoor environment, carpet cleaning should be an essential to-do item. Carpet is the sink or filter of the house and collects dust mites, dust, bacteria and thousands of other microorganisms. It also adds to the appearance of the home, as well as increases the carpets life expectancy when cleaned properly.
There are two different types of cleaning: wet and dry. Wet cleaning is more thorough as the entire yarn is cleaned. Soil and cleaning solutions are removed by high-powered vacuum extraction. It is the preferred method as well as recommended by manufacturers. Dry cleaning is a maintenance method of cleaning. A dry cleaning solution is applied to the top of the yarn. A cotton bonnet is utilized to remove the soil. It is not extracted and only the top third of the yarn is usually cleaned.

The most northerly of the Southern states, Virginia is roughly triangular in shape. The small section of the state that, along with Maryland and Delaware, occupies the Delmarva peninsula between Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean is separated from the main part of Virginia and is called the Eastern Shore. The coastal plain or tidewater region of E Virginia, generally flat and partly swampy, is cut by four great tidal rivers—the Potomac (forming most of the border with Maryland and beyond which also lies Washington, D.C.), the Rappahannock, the York, and the James—all of which empty into Chesapeake Bay. In the tidewater region stretch vast forests of pine and hardwood, highlighted in early spring by flowering redbud and dogwood.
